M3Radio Sonic Showdown star, EmpressRed, hung with Amon Amarth singer Johan Hegg at The Webster Theater in Hartford, CT. Turning a vodka fueled (Swedish of course) filmed chat into a rock God on the rack interview the hip, hot hostess held the flame to the feet of one of black metal’s most famous front men.
“Since I’m hosting the M3Radio Indie Music Video Contest –The Sonic Showdown, I really wanted to hit Hegg with questions about what it was like for artists like Amon Amarth before they became world famous. Johan was so helpful in sharing his experience with our Indie audience and we, of course, shared a few drinks during my “inquisition”. So there’s no doubt I got the “Absolut” truth from this teddy bear thrash titan.”
The Red one continued, “I really want to put this video interview up on our contest site, as well as our M3Radio channel, so new artists know that what’s essential to make it in this business is to let nothing stop you. No matter where you are or how hard it is, staying true to your art gets you through before fame and fortune comes knocking at your door. So do it for love, minions – or don’t do it at all!”
