California Company Announces Cloning and Reanimation of 437 Extinct Species

OCEANSIDE INTERACTIVE UNVEILS MYDINOS(TM)

Oceanside Interactive announces MyDinos(TM) (www.mydinos.com), a next-generation, Flash-based, casual MMO game.

MyDinos lets players explore vast lands on quests through time, rescuing and training hundreds of extinct and endangered animals. Players can create and customize a personalized dinosaur avatar, play mini-games, socialize with other players, build teams of dinosaurs and exotic creatures, and compete head-to-head with other players.

“With the release of MyDinos we’ve recreated over five-hundred million years of life on Earth, from long-extinct trilobytes to the critically endangered Ganges Dolphin,” said Michael Betti, co-founder of Oceanside. “Our mission is to deliver a highly relevant experience that fosters appreciation of our planet and the living things that depend on it while inspiring a respect for humanity’s role in shaping the natural world.”

Oceanside Interactive’s proprietary Dynamo Engine has the flexibility to support numerous additional game genres, positioning the company to capture tremendous growth in the booming virtual world market. “We are bringing Dynamo’s enhanced gameplay functionality to additional original IP and are actively exploring partnerships with licensed properties,” noted Betti.

By 2013, the global online PC game market is expected to reach $19 billion while the casual and AAA MMO markets are expected to reach $11.8 billion. This represents a shift beyond core gaming audiences to audiences of all types and ages. (Source: DFC Intelligence)
