The first Latin Alternative Music Festival in Miami. Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of LA COVACHA.
We are happy to announce the 20th Anniversary Celebration of nightclub LA COVACHA (10730 NW 25th St. Doral, FL 33172) in Miami with the MIAMI ROCK en Espanol Festival, this coming Saturday, April 18 at 8 PM.
The incredible live line up includes reggae fusion of CULTURA PROFETICA from Puerto Rico; the much fun danceable rhythm of LOS AMIGOS INVISIBLES from Venezuela/New York; Latin Grammy nominees LOCOS POR JUANA from Miami, and Colombian electro-pop sensation DIVA GASH. Local acts also include MINIMAL and LOCAL 34.
That same night there will be a tribute paid to KIKE POSADA, the Radioactive DJ, pioneer in Latin rock broadcasting in Miami … nationally renowned for introducing the Latin Alternative sound, founder of BOOM, the first independent Latin music publication in the US.
